Light mascara

Does anyone have any suggestions for a really light, waterproof mascara? I used to use Loreal Definicils Waterproof whenever I was cruising - worked very well in the heat and humidity.

 

But I lost my eyelashes during chemotherapy 2 years ago, and for some reason I just can't bear to wear that mascara since then - it feels so heavy, even though my eyelashes have grown back (very short, though). I use a Loreal waterproof eyeliner above and below, but still miss the look of mascara.

 

Does anyone have a suggestion for one that is really light-feeling?

I hope you've made a full recovery and stay well. I would suggest Lancome's mascara.

Have you considered Latisse? I have read that many survivors have had excellent luck with it darkening and lengthening their lashes. Although I use it purely for vanity :rolleyes:, I love it! I naturally have short lashes, but with Latisse they are much longer and more lush.

I'm using an Aveda mascara and love it --- very lightweight and it leaves your lashes feeling soft. Apparently it conditions while you're wearing it.. I don't think it's completely water proof, but it doesn't run like some. They may have a waterproof version.

When I typed Loreal, I actually meant Lancome, that used to be my favourite.'

 

I will check out the Aveda mascara, thanks for the suggestion.

and lighter than they used to be.....I used 2-3 coats og CLEAR..then over 2-3 times with my black !!!
