There are drinks packages on some ships. We had the premium and the beer package on Splendour of the Seas in June this year but they could only be bought once you were on board. Grandeur and Legend also offer it.

As Lotus Girl says you can get alcohol packages on some ships. These at the moment are limited to 3 ships (possibly 4) in the Med. They do a beer package at (I think) $35 pppd (per person per day) and a premium package at $55 pppd. This includes the 15% gratuity. We had this last year on the Legend and are planning on having it next week when we are on the Splendour, it really is a no brainer if you have about 6/7 drinks a day. And yes only available to purchase once on board and only for the whole duration of the cruise, in other words get it as soon as you board.

Sorry for the bad info. Call it a brain fart. I totally forgot about those packages mentioned above. The correct info should have been there are none on US sailings.:o
