Snorkeling in Falmouth

My husband really wants to go snorkeling at least once on our cruise. Can any excursions, or close by beaches be recommended in Falmouth? The excursions with RCI look okay, just was not sure if there was something better.

take red plate/JUTA/govt cab only if not with ship - you will be fine

 

Runaway bay is where we just stayed for 5 nights

Lots of snorkeling there - a good reef area for divers especially
