wait4me Posted May 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2005 Three different agents at Princess basicly said that if you don't take their transfers that you are kicked off the ship at 10:00 and you don't have access to the ship and there is no place to hold your luggage for storage. Is that true? I thought I heard that they place luggage in a different area for those who handle there own transportation. (If so, how long do they hold it for you?) jmike Posted May 13, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2005 That is not true. You can remain on the ship using the public rooms all day and evening even if you don't use Princess Transfers. Princess holds all luggage in a common area on the pier and you can pick it up when ever you want. Princess also provides a place to check your carry ons so you can leave the ship to tour, shop or whatever. Mike
Rare MVPinBoynton Posted May 13, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2005 They will hold onto your luggage for you till late in the evening if you need them to. Since most flights leave late at night, Princess has made the process very easy for all passengers. We didn't have Princess transfers and got on and off all day and had lunch and dinner before we left for the plane. Don't worry at all, Princess treats you Kings and Queens. rberne1 Posted May 13, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 13, 2005 No that's not true. Sounds like those agents don't know the TP very well, and the uniqueness of this cruise (flight times, etc.) We won't be taking their transfers this time either. And last time we stayed on board, along with everyone else for the whole day. Even those that had post-cruise stays came back to the ship after checking in at their hotels and stayed on board. That's what we intend to do this time too. No worries .... :D C-U on board! R.
