On Board Booking Info?

We are taking our first NCL cruise on the Wind August 13 and are considering the benefits of booking a Jewel 2006 cruise onboard. What are the benefits and restrictions of booking onboard?

1. How much would the cabin credit be for a 13 day cruise in a mini-suite?

2. Once home, can you switch the booking to your online TA or does it have to stay with NCL?

3. Can you still take advantage of pre-final payment price drops and/or upgrade to a better cabin through NCL/online agent?

Thanks!

Julie

1. We got $150 credit for 11-day in a mini-suite on the Dawn.

2. You can specify a TA when you book onboard and they will assign it right then.

3. I can't really answer this one as it didn't happen with us.

I guess the advantages lie in getting the cabin you want and the credit. They did mention that if there are any upgrades available when you book, you will be informed at that time. We didn't get anything when we booked for the Dawn. I think you also lock in your price in case it rises later on also.
