i dont think you are able to as they are prepared ahead of time. there are other SF desserts, so, i sadly think their answer would be no.

They are unable to make sugar free WCMC. My dad is a diabetic and we asked on our last cruise in March. They always have a diet cake option that is quite good

I loved the Sugar Free Orange Cake- they also have sugar free ice creams.

Diet butter??? As my son would say make it low fat and low taste.

Can someone tell me what type of sugar substitue is used in the diet desserts? Is it splenda or equal or sugar alcohols (e.g. maltitol, sorbitol) or something else?

There are so few ingredients in this dessert that each one plays a crucial part in the end result. You couldn't just replace the sugar with sugar substitute and expect a similar result. The sugar plays more than the role of sweetness, it contributes to the texture.

Thanks for the info - that is good news (if you have ever eaten sugar free stuff made with sugar alcohols I"m sure you know the 'troubles' one might have if consumed in any great quantity! :eek::o)
