Question about onboard credit?

I have already booked my excursions , I bought some alcohol from bon voyage and then I got some obc credit from a price drop . I also have credit from future cruise certificate . I generally prefer shopping in the ports vs. on the ship and I live near Atlantic City so the Casinos on ships dont really pull me in for too long .

My question is how can the obc be applied and is there any restrictions with either the obc credit from price drops or from future cruise certificates . Can they be applied towards tips if there is any money left over ?

I dont want to not use part of the credit and then find out that its just gone at the end of the cruise .

im new at cruising, actually my first cruise isnt until April. But from what i have read so far it seems that your credit will go to any charges accrualed on the ship including tips and then what ever is left over you will get a check the night before disembarking so you dont actually lose the money. I could be wrong. So hopefully a veteran crusier will give you a concrete answer.

I had $200 in obc when we cruised last week and it took care of the tips and all onboard purchases for us. My son bought tokens from arcade, bought pictures and I even took out casino money from it. If you don't spend it all, I think they will give you a check at the end of the cruise. Enjoy your cruise.

No need to be concerend it'll be gone at the end so don't feel you need to spend it or lose it. As others have said, it will be applied to anything (there are no restrictions--if it goes on your S&S then your OBC can pay for it) on your S&S account and if there's any left at the end of the cruise, you'll get a check for it. I've done it a few times and never had a problem. :D Have a wonderful cruise!
