:cool:DOES ANYONE KNOW THE DRIVING DISTANCE FROM THE REEF RESORT ON THE EAST END TO RUM POINT?? HOW ABOUT TO SEVEN MILE BEACH:o THANK YOU:)

Distance is not a generally used measure on grand Cayman, time it takes to get somewhere is preferred. Following the speed limit, it takes about 20 minutes to get to Rum Point proper from the Reef resort. It will take about 45-60 minutes depending on traffic conditions/time of day to reach central Seven Mile Beach.

There are buses that run from the tender pier to 7 Mile Beach...very easy! No need to drive!

The buses are great for travel between the George Town-Seven Mile Beach-West Bay corridor, but not so good for transit to & from other areas of the island. For the OP looking to travel from East End to Rum Point, driving is the best option. Same advice for getting to Seven Mile beach from East End or Rum Point.

Reef Resort to Rum Point is 13 miles. About half that is 50mph zone. The rest 25mph. Plan 30 minutes, its really closer to 25.
