any suggestions on a hotel with a mia airport shuttle precruise. i'll pay the cabfare to the port the next morning.

Embassy Suites MIA is often suggested - great breakfast and free happy hour! :D Check out the Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn and other hotels in the Blue Lagoon area near MIA -- local strip mall within walking distance (across the street from the Hampton Inn) with shopping and dining options.

 

There are also some scattered budget options -- La Quinta East os most often suggested on these boards; the price seems to be good enough to cause many cruisers to ignore the mixed reviews and isolated location.

You didn't mention a pricepoint. On South Beach: Catalina, Chelsea, Chesterfield, Shelley, and Whitelaw Hotels offer a free airport shuttle.

Hi, you might look into Comfort Inn Airport N, located in Miami Springs rated #1 in Miami Springs, new hotel has airport pickup and free transport to the Cruise Port! Prices are very reasonable they also have a bar that opens at 4pm and free breakfast. Hope this helps.
