Got back from the cottage too late to vote before the poll closed.

 

I cannot help but think it's really not about children, it's actually about good manners and civilized behaviour in general. We share a common, limited space on a ship. Always, a small number of people choose to disregard other people's enjoyment in favour of their own selfish preferences. It will ever be thus.

Since this is a wish-for thread, I wish for a separate pool for everyone under 21. Let us oldies have the pleasure of a quiet pool. Many like to stand in the shallow end and chat with friends and not worry about someone jumping on our heads. I had my share of kids and Marco Polo over the years and lived through it, somehow. I guess being younger had something to do with it.

 

I don't see it happening, but I wish..............

 

Amen. I rarely use the ships pools since there always seems to be at least a couple kids doing cannonballs and splashing everyone. Pools aren't big enough to get away from that.
