LOL, third paragraph - they were in a mini-suite and not a suite! Stopped reading there!

 

We only sailed once on the Jewel and it was the Nick All Access sailing with our Son. Even with all those kids on board, we still have a great time. Thus, the reason we are sailing again

NYGirl - I read the review in the link and noticed that the OP was in a mini-suite which I thinks has no perks. Only Penthouses and higher get perks like that.

I was just about to post the same thing. I also stopped reading shortly after that tidbit was revealed, and continued reading only long enough to decide that the reviewer likes to complain. Nuff said. ;)

I just wanted to add that the service Suite passengers receive at the port in NYC is excellent. You will be literally whisked away after you go through the security scan, you'll establish your onboard account, have your photo taken, and be escorted to the Concierge Lounge. As soon as a small group has formed, you'll be escorted aboard and spoiled rotten for the rest of the week. :D

I apologize. The way the review was written I didn't realize it would matter which suite you are in.

 

Well I am so glad I upgraded...I am really excited about being pampered. My daughter and I have had a rough 2 years since my husband passed away suddenly that I think at the very least she deserves it. Every aspect of her life changed since then and she has just rolled with the punches. It'll be nice for her.

 

Now I wish there were bingo perks too..LOL.. She LOVES bingo

With all that you two have been through, you certainly deserve all the pampering that goes along with an NCL Suite! I'm sure you're going to have an absolutely fantastic trip, and I can hardly wait to read your review when you return. :)
