Who has used Dave's Eco Tours for Lamanai Ruins. We will be on the Carnival Legend from 9 to 5. Belize cruise excursions wants to wait 1 1/2 hrs. after docking to leave and I know that time is of essence. If you have used Dave's Eco Tours, what did you think about them. Thanks

Well since only lookers and no posters will post upon our return March 24, 2013 so everyone who would like to use Dave's Eco Tours will have an idea of the service provided. We are going to Lamani ruins and Thomas River to see the wildlife on our excursion.

We took the tour to Lamanai with Dave's Eco Tour. Our tour guide was Wilifred. He was fabulous. The tour takes all of your time as you will travel by land one hour and fifteen minutes. Then transfer to a boat for a boat ride of one hour. We saw several local fishermen hand fishing along the way and lots of wildlife. This only allowed us 45 minutes at the ruins but was so worth it. Saw a toucan and lots of howler monkeys at the ruins. Wish we would have had longer at the ruins but we were glad we made the trip. U must be on the first tender off as you will need all your time to get this trip in. We were back at the dock at 3:30pm and no problem tendering back.

 

Lunch was provided by Dave's wife and was all homemade and delicious! Would recommend Dave's Eco Tour to anyone looking for someone to tour with in Belize!
