HAL Passengers Records

We visited Colonial Williamsburg for long weekends from 1980 - 1995. I was surprised to find that they were "building a file" on us when I went to make dinner reservations in 1992. By the time I contacted them in 1994, they told me that they had placed a hold on our normal dining times. So, buisinesses that are in the hospitality industry have been collecting information for years. It is so much easier in this age of computerization.

I'd be somewhat surprised if they collected "impression" comments on each and every passenger. I certainly don't mention each and every staff member who serves us on a cruise, some I do but many I never get to know well enough to say anything about them. On the other hand, if a few postings here over the years are true, folks can get "banned" or "invited" not to cruise with HAL again so they got some recognition. :o:)
