2snorkel/cruisers Posted August 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2012 We will be cruising with grandkids on Halloween and would like to know if there is any kind of trick or treat on the ships. They are small kids age 5 and 20 mos. We will all be dressed up and were wondering if anyone who has cruised halloween with kids would know. Thanks! firefly333 Posted August 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2012 Thought Id bump this to the top since no one is answering you. There is a costume judging costest, and people decorate their doors, and we did have a special dessert for dinner in the MDR. Maybe in the camp they do a little trick or treating? I bet they hand out some candy as they do on other holidays like Easter and Xmas.
LRene Posted August 12, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2012 We did a few years ago and the kids were able to go trick or treating around the ship to various points where they had crew dressed up with candy. They had a map and we took them ourselves instead of going with CC. They had a blast!
2snorkel/cruisers Posted August 12, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted August 12, 2012 Thank you so much firefly333 and Lrene. At least I have some idea now. We would love to take them from point to point ourselves also. Thanks again!
Beverley792 Posted August 12, 2012 #5 Share Posted August 12, 2012 We were on the Legend in 2010, they had a scavenger hunt kind of thing with treats given out at each location. The kiddies were happy to run around to the next spot and get some treats.
