Thrifty shuttle pick-up from Pier to Waikiki rental office

I thought I read a thread at some point that indicated that the Waikiki Thrifty rental car office at 2002 Kalakaua Avenue will send a shuttle to pick you up from the cruise ship pier.

Can anyone who has been recently confirm that? I can call them as well, but thought maybe someone here might know.

I am hoping that cruise luggage on the shuttle wouldn't be an issue either.

Thanks

On one of our cruises we had Thrifty airport location. The van came and a woman and her poor husband got on with us. She initially refused to get off the van when told it didn't got to Waikiki only the airport. I took a while to get her off, the husband was very embarrassed.

She was a real piece of work

Sounds like the same woman on the airplane that went to sit at the business class seat when she had an economy class ticket. She wouldn't move when told she should go to her seat at the economy -- until I told her the business class isn't going to Honolulu, only the economy class does.
