We are sailing for the first time out of Port Canaveral. We are coming in the day before. We are looking at Hampton Inn in Cocoa Beach. Has anyone stayed here, and what do you think of it for just one night? Is there anything close by, like restaurants or place to see? I sthe beach close by? We won't have a car, but would like to go see some things close by. Thanks.

We stayed here one night pre-cruise and it was perfectly fine. There is a boardwalk type walkway off the parking lot to the beach, it's just a short walk. I can't speak for places to eat (can't remember ) we had our car and drove back to the pier area to eat. I hope this helps :)

We stayed this past June for 2 nights and it was very nice. The beach is a short walk and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We are planning to stay again next year.

Do they have chair and unbrella rentals near Hampton Inn or courtyard. I am thinking about using the Hampton for my next cruise but want to make sure they have some chair rentals.
