Galveston Motels

Can anyone tell me which motels are closest to the cruise terminal in Galveston? I know the Harbor House is very close. Any others?

There are two hotels downtown close to the port; Harbor House and The Tremont.

 

Hotels on the Seawall typically provide transportation to the port, which is only a short distance. Some charge, some do not.

You can walk to terminals from these two,

if you can handle your own bags?

This is even if you had make two short walking trips, it's that close!

Both are between two to three blocks away!

It is a shorter walk, probably than walks in most airports!

 

These two hotels are owned by same as Galvez,

in which Galvez has available parking

and bus for transfers between hotels and terminals.

Call for better details.

 

San Luis Group(Landry) and Moody Gardens along with many smaller hotel/motels have same servives.

 

Try Country Inn, Commodore, Gaidos, Quality, Four Points Sheraton, Holiday Inn Sunspree, Holiday Inn Express, La Quinta's

and many others to meet your needs and comfort level!

 

The Galvez Group (Galvez, Tremont, Harbor House),

The San Luis Group (San Luis, Hilton, Holiday Inn Resort)

and Moody Gardens and Hotel (wonderful family destination)

are the better hotels in Galveston in my opinion.
