My wife and I were on the Epic last year and there were no formal nights that we were aware of.

Looks as if we will be boarding as you get off this year.

There are dress up or not nights, but in general Norwegian has a very casual dress code. You are free to dress elegantly any night you wish!

Dress up or Not Night was on the second night of our cruise last week......on the Monday, which was a sea day. I saw lots of people dressed beautifully that night.......and lots of people dressed casually. This was actually the same most evenings......and that's the beauty of NCL for us!! :)
