We leave Saturday on the Elation out of NOLA. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst-well at least the best we can. I'm looking at it as an adventure. Hoping it putters out before it reaches land and does any damage. Property and cruises can be replaced but lives can't.

Sometimes a cruise with Surprise destinations can be fun. During this season you can go places you had not planned to ever go.

Well it is no longer just #9 - it's now Tropical Storm Isaac. Shouldn't be too big until it gets south of Puerto Rico.
