RWolver672 Posted August 24, 2012 #26 Share Posted August 24, 2012 Its been 10 months since my last cruise....and will be going on the Splender in 2 weeks...Do we need to bring our own Shampoo now? Shampoo and liquid soap dispensers are in the showers. I guess it depends on if you have a favorite shampoo or not. DW and I both use it and have no complaints but some people say it dried their hair out. I don't think it has a conditioner built in.
dms_cruisers04 Posted August 24, 2012 #27 Share Posted August 24, 2012 We were on the Magic in June. This what we had. This is almost exactly what we had on the Victory last week. We did not have the Breathe Right strips. But we did have Listerine breath strips. No razors.
dms_cruisers04 Posted August 24, 2012 #28 Share Posted August 24, 2012 DH goes ga-ga over the samples. I get travel size goodies at WalMart or Target and sneak them in before he can see. He thinks they give baby powder, alka-seltzer, mints, hand sanitizer, ear plugs and band-aids :). Good thing he doesn't read CC! That is too funny! Glad he enjoys the samples. Felt like it got all the salt out.

GOTTA CRUISE NOW Posted August 24, 2012 #31 Share Posted August 24, 2012 Amy Giard: THAT cracks me up! You must be the 1st one in the cabin to make sure he doesn't see the goodie dish before you load it up! (that's love...)
bibbysnow Posted August 24, 2012 #32 Share Posted August 24, 2012 Royal Caribbean has never had any goodies in the cabin.
Shipfaced13 Posted August 24, 2012 #33 Share Posted August 24, 2012 We travel to some resorts in the Caribbean that don't even have towels, bathmats or wash cloths in the rooms...and these vacations cost us a HECK of a lot more then our first cruise did!! Freebies like this are a treat no matter what they are!

Katie Lou Posted August 24, 2012 #35 Share Posted August 24, 2012 I read that pickins' have been pretty slim over the past months.... are they improving? What was in your stateroom lav when you arrived? Thanks! Just cruised on Liberty, Aug 11/12, and we had granola bars and toothpaste in our basket. It was kind of weird to have granola bars in the bathroom.

Zoey Posted August 24, 2012 #39 Share Posted August 24, 2012 We were on the Magic in June. This what we had. OMG.....that's kind of pitiful. I've haven't cruised on Carnival yet, but Celebrity, HAL and Royal Caribbean had MUCH nicer toiletries.
