Room Service! Posted August 23, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2012 We did that a few years ago. As I recall it was quite warm. Very summer like.

flowers44 Posted August 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2012 We sailed last year on October 30th and were in Bermuda for three days in the beginning of November. Absolutely beautiful. About 80-85 degrees. Water was warm. No Humidity. Great time of year to go to Bermuda. We did have rough seas coming home, 27 foot waves and 58 MPH winds. DonnaK Posted August 24, 2012 #6 Share Posted August 24, 2012 Would you say that the ocean temperature was warm enough for comfortable swimming at the end of Oct/beginning of Nov? We went to Bermuda the last week of May, and while the air temperature was quite warm, the sea temp was still rather cool. Not too many people were in the water at the beach. The ocean temperature generally lags the changes in air temperature, so in May it hasn't warmed as much as the air, and in October it hasn't cooled as much as the air. The swing in ocean temperatures from low to high isn't nearly as wide as the swing in air temperatures. That's why it's usually comfortable enough to swim in Bermuda in October, but often too cold to swim in May.
