2Okies Posted October 20, 2012 #26 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Great info. We always opt for the less crowded even if its more money. Moby sounds very crowded. I don't see how it could have been Moby Dick that was crowded. I think they told us their boat could hold about 40 max, and right now, this time of year, they usually have around 30. We went the end of Sept and there were 23 on our trip. They very much gave us one on one time in the water at Stingray City and at the ref when we snorkeled. We were NOT crowded, lined up, or anything the reviewer said above. I do not believe they were observing Moby Dick at all. Maybe one of the ship excursions, but NOT Moby Dick. pitz0005 Posted October 21, 2012 #27 Share Posted October 21, 2012 I agree. We went on Moby in January and it was less crowded than the Native Way tour we did. If I had to choose, I would go with with Moby hands down.
twinsmomma Posted January 9, 2013 #28 Share Posted January 9, 2013 We've done Moby twice and will be doing Moby again next week. Both times we went were wonderful. They are very attentive and the boat was never crowded. The first time there were less then 20 of us and last time there was about 25. The last time we went, we were on a 2 week vacation, one week at Disney World and one week on a cruise. Out of the entire trip, Moby was my kids' favorite day. Ellusionz Posted January 9, 2013 #29 Share Posted January 9, 2013 If you feel adventurous you could do the tour on wave runners too! We're booked in March for it and will stop at the sand bar and rum point.
