Carnival has not had a "TRUE SALE" on their cruises for years now. They raise the price of the cruises to make it look like they are giving you a bargin. This has been proven time and time again.

 

the newbies they are trying to attract fall for it over and over so why should they change?

39 days until we cruise and they still have a lot of empty cabins but the price is $20 more per person than we paid. Maybe sometime soon they will start to lower the price. Looks like the same empties for over a month.

Since Carnival rarely had a "sale" before recently - these past few sales have at least gotten people to the website and looking at cruises. I booked during the last "sale" but booked EarlySaver for a cruise in May 13'. I could never justify paying the higher prices/lower deposit but I did end up booking a cruise - which is all that matters to Carnival in the end!
