We also live in NC and it is much to far to drive in one day and be on the ship by before it leaves. However there are hotels that will let you park there but for a fee if you don't stay overnight. Just call them and ask if they do this.

why don't you contact a church in the area ....

 

you can find churches online - you don't need my recommendation

 

if they know your car they won't call for a tow

When I was organizing a mission trip for a group of college kids I needed a place to park 6 cars - the organization was NOT of this area - but we found a church willing to help.

The OP does not want to pay a fee. The OP is looking to leave a vehicle on private property while on a cruise without paying. The OP wants free parking.
