Carnival Spirit In Australia

Hi everyone

 

The Carnival Spirit launches here in Australia in under 50 days , Ive booked my family on it for October 2013 . This will be our 2nd cruise with our 1st cruise on board the Pacific Jewel with P&O in 2011.

 

Has anyone sailed on the carnival Spirit b4 if so what advice can u give me on what to expect and how much spending to take ?

 

We have a rough idea but all cruise lines are different and any feedback would be appreciated .

There really is nothing you have to buy. Almost all the cruiselines, the same 3rd party company runs the onboard stores, so no matter which cruiseline they carry extremely similar merchandise.

 

soda and booze is not free, but its a option.

 

Since your tips are included in your price.. what you spend is entirely up to you.

You don't have to spend anything if you don't want to, but you can buy things in the stores, spend in the casino, at the bars, at the Steakhouse, and on excursions of course. There are some pics of the Spirit (our favorite ship!) in links in my signature.

There is an Aussie part in this forum and there is a few of us who are sailing on Carnival soon. once we have sailed, that board will probably have a lot of Information.
