public restrooms

Hello to all viewers....

We will be cruising on the TP May 24. Just curious about the public restrooms on the islands - - readily nearby? Clean? Well equipped?

Also, how far from the ship is the Marche?

The restrooms were not a problem. The people are so friendly that most businesses don't mind if you use theirs. The Marche is right across from the port, well within an easy walking distance.

Thank you so much for your reply. We have traveled to many countries and have found the restrooms to be a major problem. We are more than ready for this overdue, well deserved trip!

I'm with you on the bathrooms. I believe it is a mortal sin to past a rest area on the interstate. :D I was appalled by the public restrooms in Europe, especially Greece and Italy when I first traveled there. I quickly learned to use the ones you had to pay for, rather than the hole in the floor!The ones in French Polynesia are not great by our standards, but they are certainly better than most. As I said, whenever possible, use the ones inside the shops.
