Sauer-kraut Posted September 4, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2012 If Tom-n-Cheryl is around they can tell you about the Simpleman concert cruise. Have you looked under specialty cruises for the THEME CRUISES board? You might find information there. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
lftygurl Posted September 5, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2012 Did the Kiss cruise last year & are doing it again in October. There was really no interaction (activities) with the Paul & Gene, there was mini golf w/Tommy. I think there was a lot of not so good feedback on this because when the cruise was announced this year they state a lot of changes are going to be made including more interaction. The acoustic sail away show was great! Keep in mind that it is not a "Carnival of Norwegian etc" cruise. A third party contracts the ship so the "crew" was limited & they weren't responsible for any activities.
Collz Posted September 5, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 5, 2012 We're booked on our 3rd Simpleman Cruise in October. The cruise is all about the music and the people you'll meet. Music starts about 1 or 2 in the afternoon and goes pretty much non-stop until about 2am! There are bandstands set up all over the ship as well as one out by the pool. Also, really no dresscode. It's a very casual cruise, lots of music, lots of drinking! This is the first year for NCL so I'm looking forward to seeing the differenences between NCL and Carnival. I think once you go, you'll be hooked!
