Decided to start a fun thread for the weekend:

 

What's your favorite "concoction" to make when

cruising? By that I mean, do you ever take food/drinks

from one area and mix them with stuff you get elsewhere

(either on the ship or bring on-board).

 

Some of my favs:

 

1. Root beer float

Get a root beer from the bar and take

to the soft-serve machine to add

some vanilla ice cream.

 

2. Ice cream cookie sandwich

Get 2 cookies from desert bar and add ice cream to

the middle.

 

3. Peanut M&M Melting Cake

Add some peanut M&M's to the melting cake! :p

 

So how about it? Anyone else make their own

concoctions or add their own toppings or mixins?

My husband loves to get a double decker sandwich from the deli, combines a pastrami and corned beef sandwich.

I am amazed how big the sandwich is and every time he does it, someone behind him orders one too. :p

Lemonade from the Lido with Rum from my room. Great!

 

Guavaberry juice from the Lido with Rum from my room. Wonderful!

 

Any other juice I can find on the Lido with Rum from my room. Fantastic!

 

Guess you can see that I keep the theme alive!

I took the cheese from the nachos at one of the stations and dipped my fries in them. I made cheesy fries!!

 

I have seen Zydeco's club sandwich Blt combo. Dying to try it!

They actually had melted cheese where the grill is to go with those french fries on the Valor in January.

We also bring on our own A&W and orange soda for floats. Sometimes we will bring some chocolate sauce to drizzle into the glasses.

 

Lido--

choc ice cream and coffee

iced coffee

HC with grown up add ins

we always seem to be a la mode'ing some dessert.

Our group does it's own sundae bar. We've had hot fudge, maraschino cherries, sprinkles, dulce de leche, Quemada (a Mexican caramel sauce) etc

 

Chili cheese fries

 

From the deli I'll ask for a condiment cup of pesto and a baguette.

A&W is the best root beer, hands down! :)

The have Barq's on the ship... OK but not the same.

Arnold Palmers: Iced Tea and Lemonade from Lido. Hot chocolate and coffee for a mocha.

I bring a large disposable glass, fill glass half full of hot coffee, put in several scoops of powdered cappaccino mix (from Walmart) to dissolve it, add some creamer, fill rest of glass with ice. Great free tasty cold drink:)

Large cup of coffee, add soft serve vanilla and a shot of Baileys Irish Creme. :)

I irritated my wife by teaching our son the idea of putting a little ice cream on top of his waffles or pancakes at breakfast.

I like to go out on our balcony or up to the lido or into the casino and mix some of the air with my crown.:D
