ship excursions

Hello everyone. I have a quick question for anyone who knows and doesn't mind answering. First time on Celebrity and am looking over the ship's excursions. Can anyone tell me please if you pay for the excursion in advance when you reserve it or is the excursion added on to your onboard account? I know that with Carnival, your charge card is billed right away but with Princess, it is added to your onboard account and not charged until you sail. Thanks so much!!

Anything you purchase prior to the start of the cruise is charged to your credit card when you purchase it. That includes excursions, special dining rooms, etc.
