Nassau help please! CLEAR BLUE WATER!

Okay, so we are taking our very sheltered friend on her first cruise November 29.

We are only going to Nassau because it is a 3-day. We will be docked from 12-8pm.

Her only wish ever has been to see and swim in clear blue water. She saw our pictures of Half Moon Cay and wants to see water like that! :) Nothing compares in my eyes.

Anyway, we looked at the Atlantis pass - it is so expensive. I really wanted to do Blue Lagoon but because of our dock hours we would only get 2 1/2 hours there for $54 for the all-inclusive pass.

What are our other options with access to a beach? What about any all-inclusive places?

I don't know about all inclusives, but the Sheraton $30.00pp. Is very nice--IMO there is no place on earth like HMC. Here are a couple of pics from the Sheraton in April. We got a day room for $99.00

Hope this helps

Also looking for a great, but inexpensive, beach day at Nassau!

Looking for that clear, open, water.

How does one get to the Sheraton? Is a taxi best?

Is the beach really nice? I see reef or dark areas in the photos???

Last time we got a day-room at the Comfort at Atlantis.

However, that might be a bit pricey...

And, unless we missed the best beach area, the beach was not great.

beautiful, but not a nice, natural, swimmable beach.

Sheraton would do the trick.

You can take a cab for about $18 for 2 ppl.. or take the #10 jitney for $1.25 pp. Jitney's run til 6pm.

For the bluest water.. blue lagoon island would take the prize. Remarkable turquoise water.
