Help! Where to board from Rome?

Booked spur of the moment cruise leaving Rome on Sunday, 9/16, tonite is Friday 9/14. SD offices are closed, does anyone know where we board the ship in civitivechia? Does SD offer transport from Rome? Appreciate your knowlege

At least for the 6 Oct sailing "the yacht is docked at the port at one of the following berths: 10, 11, 12 South or 12 North. After entering the port area through the South Gate, you will find a few feet inside, a large road sign indicating at which berth the SeaDream Yacht is located."

 

For transportation from Rome, I understand the SD recommended "DDP Incentive" is quite expensive. Suggest you contact Stefano at www.romecabs.com for transporation -- it is 130 euros for 2 people. We used him a couple of years ago and will do so again next month.

I second Karen's response above. Exactly right. You can have Stefano pick you up at your hotel and do a bit of a tour and transfer to Civitivecchia. Not a bad ride and you will be entertained in route. He will have no problem finding the ship for you. Bon Voyage!.:D Dont forget to review your trip here for us poor stay at homes.

Thanks much to both of you. Of course having Internet trouble when I need it the most, can't seem to get though to SD folks. Will try calling tomorrow, at least I know where to look for the boat now!

Yes Jim, it is especially fun as we were hiking the camino santiago pilgrimage trail, 15 miles per day with a backpack, but ran into problems, so going from bare bones to luxury overnight. Shopping for essentials today!
