bajathree Posted September 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2012 I just noticed that it looks like Royal raised the pricing of all cabanas at Labadee by $50....they now start at $200 for beach and go to $250 for over the water.

bajathree Posted September 18, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted September 18, 2012 On both the Oasis/Allure sailings I looked at....but I would assume it's the same for all ships.

vacationbound Posted September 18, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 18, 2012 I was just contacted by the concierge for our Allure sailing this Saturday.....we were able to reserve an "over the water" cabana on Barefoot Beach for $200.
bajathree Posted September 18, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted September 18, 2012 I was just contacted by the concierge for our Allure sailing this Saturday.....we were able to reserve an "over the water" cabana on Barefoot Beach for $200. Either there is an "effective" date or you may find out next weeks rates went up. The earliest sailing I have to look up is currently Dec...and that has the new pricing....it shows the pricing of the Barefoot cabanas also (even though you can't reserve those on-line)....and I checked and those went up. vacationbound Posted September 18, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 18, 2012 Hmmmm.....interesting! Will be sure to check the price on our bill. Whatever....either price is a big splurge for us, but not going to affect what we do.....so excited and feeling blessed to be making this trip!! 5 days......... CFIGuy Posted September 18, 2012 #8 Share Posted September 18, 2012 Not a surprise. We had a beach cabana for $150, which I considered more than fair considering 3 bottles of Evian, 3 beach mats, upgraded buffet, golf cart transfers, and of course the cabana. Just the beach mats and water were about $60. And they always seem to be booked full
Isa65 Posted September 18, 2012 #9 Share Posted September 18, 2012 Wow... Just 2 weeks ago I was playing with excursions for our April cruise and saw the cabanas already available. SO very glad I booked then! For $250 I don't think I would've reserved one, just for 2 of us.

You may get a different answer if you go the route of RC customer service:rolleyes:

Rare S.A.M.J.R. Posted September 21, 2012 #15 Share Posted September 21, 2012 Cancel and rebook. Wouldn't it be better to book (under another name on your account), make sure you have it, THEN cancel? FWIW, our June 8th sailing is still listing the higher prices ($250 for OTW). sabookkeeper Posted September 21, 2012 #16 Share Posted September 21, 2012 I am cruising on Celebrity in February and have already booked my OTW cabana. Just checked and the prices have gone up. I'm glad I booked early.
