Magic's Cloud 9 balconies

I am considering booking a Cloud 9 spa balcony room on the Magic but a little hesitant because I thought I read somewhere that the balconies are not covered. If so, this would be a deal breaker as I wouldn't enjoy sitting in the sun on the balcony. Anyone know for sure? Thanks for responses.

Our deck 12 balcony had a grate over it that diffused the sunlight. The balcony was only in the sun for 1/2 the day anyway- in the morning when the ship was headed south and in the afternoon when heading back to Galveston. The deck 11 balcony spa cabins have the deck 12 balconies overhead, so should be completely undercover.
