msshawn Posted September 24, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2012 Do you have to pay for this?
Delta Dear Posted September 24, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2012 No it's free and great fun. You learn and taste then get the recipes. Get there about 20-30 minutes early to get a lose seat. Enjoy.
nybumpkin Posted September 24, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 24, 2012 Not to mention you won't need much in the way of lunch afterward.:)
combatboots2jimmychoos Posted September 24, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 24, 2012 Make sure you get there early. We got there on time on our Dream cruise and had to sit in the back so it was hard to see. The food "samples" were very large and so it was half of my lunch. okwriter Posted September 24, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 24, 2012 I've never heard of cooking demonstrations. Is this something they have on the Magic?
prattmom Posted September 24, 2012 #8 Share Posted September 24, 2012 I've never heard of cooking demonstrations. Is this something they have on the Magic? Yes! I arrived 10 minutes before start time and it was already full and the demo started... Not going to be "late" next time!
SmileEh Posted September 24, 2012 #9 Share Posted September 24, 2012 I also want to try this on our next cruise... on a 7 Day sailing, what sail day do they usually offer this?
Delta Dear Posted September 24, 2012 #10 Share Posted September 24, 2012 I also want to try this on our next cruise... on a 7 Day sailing, what sail day do they usually offer this? It was the morning of the first sea day on our Valor 7 day cruise. It was in the steakhouse at 11:00, I think. They were setting up for the Wine Pairing which was there the following hour. I learned about it here on CC and made sure I looked for it in the Fun Times. So glad I did. Enjoy !
sharecruises Posted September 24, 2012 #11 Share Posted September 24, 2012 Did this for the first time on Freedom, very enjoyable. We did get there early and had seat up front. Chef demo'd the dishes...we got yummy and generous samples. While he cooked one "artist" carved a pumpkin while another decorated a cake. We had some nice photo ops, got a little recipe book, very nice.
