rok233 Posted September 24, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2012 Can I use cash at the casino on the EPIC? I used my visa to fund my onboard account last time and it didn't work out too well. I'd like to keep my visa home and use cash if at all possible. A few too many drinks and my gambling tends to get out of hand. :D

Fishbait17 Posted September 24, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 24, 2012 You can only use cash at NCL casinos. All machines are cash (or voucher) in and voucher out. Tables are cash or chips in, chips out. Vouchers and chips can be cashed in at the cashier window. Only way you can "charge" cash to your credit card or onboard account is to visit the cashier and sign paperwork and pay a 3% fee to get cash. The only gambling that is automatically charged to your onboard account are slot, poker, and blackjack tournament fees. So you should be safe unless you visit the cashier often and sign receipts ;). Robin Thanks, that's what I did last time. They gave me a reciept at the cashier, I brought it to the table and they gave me chips. For some reason I don't recall people giving the dealers cash and receiving chips in return. I thought it was cashless like the bars.
sjbdtz Posted September 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 24, 2012 To be clear.... US cash. You'll need to exchange the Canadian before going, or at the Front Desk. .
