We stay there when we go to Galveston for vacation or pre/post cruise. It's right across from the beach,has a really nice pool,staff is very nice. Complimentary basic breakfast. Can't beat the price or location ! :p

Its an old hotel with rooms to crash

Very adequate and good pricing usually

Cleans rooms said by most on CC board

We've stayed there twice...in 2010 and again in 2011......and we are staying there again this November. Nice enough place if you dont mind the older motel type place. We like the price...like the room...like the location...and LOVE the food!!! The staff seem nice too. There is a comp breakfast, but its limited...still better than nothing. If you are staying precruise or post cruise, be sure to ask for their cruise special where you get a discount off the room and restraunt!! We've stayed at four different places in Galveston, but have decided we'd rather stay at Gaidos!:)
