Bibble Posted September 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2012 We are booked for our first balcony on the Pearl. Can anyone tell me if the balcony dividers open, so that you can share the balcony with your neighbor? Thanks!
time2cruise1 Posted September 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2012 They open but current policy does not allow them to be opened. Bring your leatherman.
medicalma'am Posted September 25, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2012 In the past, we have had ours open on the Pearl. They tend to make noise at night though. If you could 'pad' the part that hits when the ship rocks, it would be quiet.

cassie55 Posted September 25, 2012 #6 Share Posted September 25, 2012 We asked for the dividers to be opened when we were on the Pearl last year. The reception desk and steward said it couldn't be done so we spoke to the Hotel Director. He said yes but only when the ship was in port which was better than nothing but we really wanted it when we were at sea. Our steward would come and open it when we docked and come in and lock it again about 30 minutes before we left port.

We only have one port day, but that would be nice to hang out there with our friends for a little while :)
