Taxis in St. Thomas

We will be in St. Thomas in Feb/13 and was just wondering where you would catch a taxis to go to the Vendors Plaza from Crown Bay? Is it easy to get one to come back to the pier?

There's a taxi dispatch at Crown Bay, so tell the dispatcher you want to go to town, and the dispatcher will direct you to the next cab going to town. You may have to wait a few minutes until it fills up, and the fare is, I think, $5 pp each way.
