Ephraim Posted September 30, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 30, 2012 If your car insurance covers rentals, you may wish to ask them for an Inter-Province driving insurance card.
Langley Cruisers Posted October 1, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2012 I worked in a rental car agency for five years and a note on the insurance, and claiming for an accident, etc: if you decline the additional insurance coverage and have an accident in the rental car, you will be required to pay the bill in full on your credit card and then (try to) claim from your insurance company. The car rental company will not bill a third party for the amount. Just a heads up on whether or not you want to take that risk/position. :) .
