Hi, Can someone tell me what is in walking distance from the ship?

There is a small outdoors market that sells baskets and different island stuff if you walk straight off the ship about 100 yards.

There is a pier right in downtown Rouseau. When we visited there on the Caribbean Princess we docked at a pier that was in an industrial area about a 10 min ride from town. You might ask on your cruise lines message board at which spot your ship will dock.

 

I took the shuttle into town and found it to be a great place to walk around. It's not at all touristy. Lots of locals going about their business, kids from schools doing what schoolkids do. It was great. We did an island tour but I enjoyed milling about in Rouseau just as much.
