How soon in advance can I make reservations for shows?

The show reservations open up approx 60-90 days before the cruise, and it varies, so you have to check daily. The most important show to book is the comedy show, since that's a small venue and fills fast.

Definatly check every day - we sail Jan 19th and I booked all of our shows the first week of August - 5 months before we sail.

I would also suggest you check daily. As others have said, reservations have opened up earlier than 90 days.

Question is there a way to see if shows are booked before you purchase even your cruise. I plan to sail either Allure/Oasis this Dec 12. And would like to know.

You must book a cruise before being able to book shows or see how booked a show already is. I'm sailing on Oasis December 15, 2012. Show reservations opened in August. Only a certain number of advance online reservations are taken. So the whole thing won't book up. Guests onboard can make reservations on Day 1 at Studio B or from their interactive stateroom tv.
