What time to board?

What time should we get to the terminal to board the Elation? We sail on the 29th, this is our first cruise.

We always like to get there around 10 to 10:30am. To me vacation starts as soon as we're on the ship :)

I always try to get there as early as possible, carnival recommends between 11 and 2 I think..

Boarding starts between 11:30 and 12:00.

Last cruise we got there around 11 and boarded by 12.

If you get there early you will avoid long lines.

If you want to avoid the lines, go a bit later like 12:30 or 1 PM. We have done this on a couple of cruises & walked right on the ship-no line what so ever.

We usually show up at about 10: to 10:30. See the people coming off the ship with the "This Sucks" look on their face. And then we are on. Foreward one week and I am the one with the "That Sucks " look 'cause I usually try to stay on 'til they call my name. Guess it is only fair.
