No Need to apologize...you did indeed UPGRADE...you just did it yourself rather than wait for the elusive upgrade Fairy! Congrats...now keep watching those prices...if they continue to have empty cabins you may find yourself "upgrading" to a Grand Suite!:D

 

Where do you see the prices/availability for cabins above the jr. suite level? On the RCCL website it just shows suites starting at a certain price and that is for a guarantee.

I was looking at the FL resident rate on a dummy booking. The last time I checked, there was the guarantee I booked, Grand, Royal Family, and Owner's available.

 

*Edit* I just checked, and the Jr. Suite guarantees are gone. Grand Suites start at $550 more than what I paid with my guarantee. I'm glad I was able to take advantage of such a great deal!
