bp traveler Posted October 16, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2012 Wondering what happened to the Early Saver Rates for Europe (Legend - Baltics) for July 2013? What is the cut off date that they stop offering these or perhaps the ship is pretty full already?
bp traveler Posted October 16, 2012 Author #2 Share Posted October 16, 2012 When I just checked again the Early Saver was the exact same price as the past guest rate?
okgirl Posted October 16, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2012 Early Saver is sometimes capacity controlled, so it may come and go....As a general rule ES rates are available up to 5 months before a 7 day sailing...

Just to add on to this. The ES rates besides being ship capacity controlled but also in specific categories. The ES could be all booked in 8B but still available in 8C. kicia Posted October 17, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 17, 2012 Early Saver rates are available on all three Baltic cruises in July, 2013 on the Legend. The past guest rates are actually cheaper for balcony categories and lower. If those categories work for you I would book Early Saver and immediately submit a price protection form for the past guest rates.
sjcruiser Posted October 17, 2012 #6 Share Posted October 17, 2012 Several Carnival cruises for next summer the ES rate is only a few dollars less than PG rate, and a few dollars more than the Military rate. Our last cruise we booked MIL, PG and Senior, then watched the prices fall for the ES rate where we could have had a substantial amount for OBC. Next time we'll book ES.
