On the Sun Jan/12 it was $125.00 for 5 carton's of Marlbobro, prices should be fleet wide. Custom's will dictate how many you can bring home duty-free

I believe customs allows for 200 cigarettes...so one carton per person.

Paper work says one carton per person, but I always bring back 2 cartons for my hubby

I believe you can bring back 5 cartons duty free from the USVI.

It's 5 cartons from the USVI or P/R and 1 carton from elseware. Depending upon brand the average prices are around $35 a carton. Over limit duty fee is $10 per carton.

For those living in areas in the Northeast it's much cheaper to buy them and pay the tax as you will still be getting a great discount. I know this because I have friends that ask me every cruise to pick the up cigs and they will pay for them. They say even with the tax it's a lot cheaper.

 

Customs isn't always going to tax you. Just be sure to be honest on your custom's slip. We've brought more than what was allowed for alcohol (I like to collect unique bottles) and the customs agent never charged us any tax for it.
