Labadee Basics

Okay, we don't want a cabana. Just a nice, partially shadey spot near the water to relax and enjoy.

I am very confused about where to go on Labadee. Some beaches are suite guests only, or cabana renters.

Where can we go, find a lounge chair and relax with a labadoozie?

Thanks,

You can go any place on Labadee except the Barefoot Beach area. That is reserved for suite guests. The rest of the island is open for everyone to enjoy. Nellie's beach is a really nice beach area. Columbus cove has the water park toy area on one side along with the waterslide. The rest of the beach is open for your enjoyment. There is a beach along the opposite side of the island but it has rougher surf. OK for sitting next to be not so good for swimming. There are shade areas all over the island. Just pick out a space and ask one of the RCCI workers to move your loungers over for you. They will gladly do that for you.

You may enjoy Nellies beach, although it may get crowded, trees for shade, activities, and nice entrance into the water with minor shoreline shells. Then beautiful sandy bottom. I do recommend water shoes, and we just leave them on the whole time when we swim or walk the island to eat, play volleyball, to the jet skis............

Finding a shaded area on other beaches will not be to hard if you get there early enough....also depending what class ship you are on Oasis class more crowded, cause more people.

Safe travels.
