STAR-theme nights?

As far as I know, all of the Princess ships still have country and western night and the 50's-60's sock hop nite. And depending on your itinerary there is always an island or Caribbean night if you are sailing down south.

So pack that cowgirl hat if you want to! :D

I've been on two Princess cruises and neither one had another "theme" nights. Just formal ones. The traditional dining room had themes, though, with the waiters dressed in outfits for that country (Italy, usually) or region (Caribbean, etc.).

We have noticed on the last couple of cruises (Golden and Star) that Princess has really de-emphasized the theme night thing. Too bad...it used to be fun.

Agree, does not seem to be any "theme" nights on the Star. As previously mentioned, the waitstaff did dress once or twice in regional type outfits. :)

Hey, I would never miss a sock hop. I have some bobby socks that are older than most of the cruisers:D
