Is there an advantage in buying drink coupons, photo credits vs just putting that money on your account as fun ship dollars?

Is there an advantage in buying drink coupons, photo credits vs just putting that money on your account as fun ship dollars?

 

As I understand it when you buy the drink coupons it includes the gratuities, so $20 covers the drinks and the gratuities whereas with the funship dollars you would spend $20 and have to pay the 15% gratuity.
