Wine tasting tours from Marseille or Civitavecchia (Rome) Port

We want to do a wine tasting tour during our RC MAY15 cruise. Has anyone done the Avignon & Wine Tasting at the Palace of the Pope ship excursion or have any othere suggestions? Also we are looking at a different excursion from Civitavecchia instead of going to Rome and wondered if there are suggestions for a wine tasting tour here instead or even just another great alternative then Rome. I would really like to see the wine process and not just tasting. Thanks!
