imsulin Posted May 20, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2004 Hi, there! Can you give us a little more information about your ship, dates of sailing, any pre-existing medical problems, and what kind of insurance your TA recommended? We always get Travelguard, and it's the same price whether we get it through our TA or on-line, or by phone.
bravemom Posted May 21, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2004 I've used Travelguard as well. They were great when we ended up with 2 small children with raging ear infections in the middle of the night, in a state not covered by my HMO (obviously the underwriters have never been w/1 let alone 2 kids w/ear infections otherwise they WOULD classify it as a covered life threatening circumstance). Travelguard covered a medical service that sent a doctor to our hotel room as well as the resulting perscriptions.
